Blossom 🌼
This reflection came to me as I was sitting in my garden, gently observing the fruit of my labor, my precious flower garden.
I planted the seeds a few weeks ago, and there we are, today is the explosion of colours and the first bee visitors.
As I sat with this grand opening, I found myself reflecting on one of the greatest teachings life has offered me: allowing yourself to unfold with the quiet trust that everything blossoms in its own time.
(And gosh, this is not an easy one for someone who struggle with trust and patience…)
In the past two years, I have been gifted many opportunities to practise patience.
To sit quietly and witness my own unfolding without knowing where it would lead. There were moments of tension, many of them to be honest, moments when I feared this initiation might become a permanent state rather than a season to move through.
Yet every time, something shifted. Every time. On its own time.
There always came a moment when I recognised it: this is it.
This is the moment the lessons begin to flower.
Now is the time, where I finally see my flowers bursting into colours.
So perhaps this is simply a gentle reminder.
Let yourself root. Let yourself grow. Trust the unseen work happening beneath the surface.
Because everything is always moving. Everything passes. And one day, your own garden will burst into colour even if the sky above is still grey.
Give yourself the time to root
In the fertile soil of your own nature
Seeds take time to mature
Give yourself the time to bloom
In the shade of green healing
Exotic flowers awakening
Give yourself the time to unfold
The luxury of becoming
The quiet knowing of reconnecting
Give yourself the time to shine
To be the bright flower of your garden
I often capture the quiet moments that inspire my writing. If you'd like to see more of my botanical photography, or bring this image into your space, you can visit my photography collection here.
