Back to basics

Today, I share with you a quick meditation I have been practising for years.

This one helped me to get to know myself better, create inner space for connection, and gently explore the polarity lying in the human reality.

A travelling soul in a human body.

This idea has attracted my hungry, curious heart for as far as I remember.

As a child, teenager, adult, I’ve always tried to escape my flesh form.

First, at a young age with a fascination for dreams and books taking me to other realms. As I grew up, I fell in love with self-development, started to consciously come back to my inner world, realised I was considering my physical body as a burden, a prison limiting my capacities.

After this new awareness, I decided to align myself with a deep belief I was now ready to experiment with :

I am a travelling soul in a physical vessel on a spinning earthy sphere moving into a boundless sky...

 How interesting, scary, curious, infinite...

I found out I was like a tide: going up and down, mostly trying to find equilibrium.

For years, I worked on self-love and body positivity.

One day it finally clicked.

My body tells everything I want to know, especially stuff I am not ready to hear from the soul.

Fascinating to see how it is most of the time the last resort while it is also so obvious, visible to the eye.

A wink from the universe whispering, if you are not willing to listen to your soul, then you'll have to hear your earthy flesh and bones.

Reaching more harmony, balance between the mind, the body, the crown, the roots, the sky and the earth became my focus these last five years.

One of the things that helped substantially was guiding myself every morning with a short meditation of grounding, opening and centering. 

It helped me feel more aligned of course, but also deepened my meditation practice, self-connection and created a space for both my body and soul to express themselves freely.

So if you are ready to give yourself a few minutes of peace, connection, let's dive into it...

Sit comfortably in a quiet space.

Notice your breath, your belly moving, the air coming in and out of your nostrils and mouth.

Visualise a gorgeous, vibrant red energy coming from the centre of Mother Earth playing softly with your feet, smoothly entering your energy.

As you keep on breathing, visualise this strong energy going up, cleansing your legs, genital parts, abdomen, belly, then lively caressing your heart space before diving there.

A new crystalline, pure white light appears. This time coming from the sky, sensually showering the top of your head, melting on your face, neck, arms, chest and coming into your heart space as did the first light.

Imagine both lights dancing together. A mesmerising love making between a stunning red and a clear white giving birth to a soft, cosy pink.

As you inhale, call this new light, as you exhale, ask it to stretch out.

With your breath, imagine the pink light moving, cleansing every cell of your body.

If you feel like it, you can also ask it to spread around your body and create a protective, cosy bubble for you.
